At Van Horn Ford of Oconomowoc, we’re simply ecstatic about all the new Ford models hitting the road in 2020. One of our personal favorites is the 2020 Ford Edge, a refresh of an already acclaimed compact SUV that is bound to make waves in the market.
The Ford Edge entered the auto world in a crowded field of other compact SUVs. That said, we’ve had little concern that this spunky SUV would ever fall to the wayside as just another compact SUV. The 2020 capitalizes on an already well-built foundation, offering the same level of quality and utility that drivers have come to expect.
Let’s talk engine specs. The base model of the 2020 Ford Edge comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that is responsible for 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft worth of torque, which is quite a lot for a vehicle of this size. Although, if you want a little more oomph behind the accelerator, you can find it in the 2.7-liter V6 engine which puts out 335 horsepower, a breathtaking 380 lb-ft worth of torque, and a max towing capacity of 3,500 lbs.
All of this power can be put to good use, as the 2020 Ford Edge promises 39.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. And with those rear seats folded, drivers can enjoy a particularly expansive 73.4 cubic feet of cargo space. To top it all off, the 2020 Ford Edge can be purchased with an AWD drivetrain and can be found in one of four unique trim options the SE, SEL, Titanium, and ST.
The 2020 Ford Edge is looking to be a true showstopper, and our Waukesha Ford dealers are excited to set you up with a test drive once it reaches our showroom floor. Until then, you can visit Van Horn Ford of Oconomowoc to talk all things, Ford.
